    About us

    Pitches for Africa

Pitches for Africa was founded in December 2015 with the idea of providing mobile cricket pitches to schools and organisations who is passionate about developing the game of cricket.

Pitches for Africa - cricket general pitches

The cricket challenges in South Africa and throughout Africa, is the impact the playing surfaces have on the performance of the game for young and upcoming cricketers.

One of the consequences of young cricketers beginning their cricket pathway on these cricket surfaces results in a lack of skill development and confidence, hence players do not reach their full potential. In some instances, it has become a “hit and miss game”. The unpredictable bounce on these unsporting surfaces certainly is disadvantageous to the young player.

The idea became a reality and we have launched Pitches to Africa.
